Swing-Lock Thumbover

Thomas Post's vision of the modern muzzleloader takes shape in sizes up to .50-caliber designed for use with either saboted or sabotless bullets. A one-piece barrel and breech design provides the strength to withstand the pressures of smokeless powder. Trigger adjustment is tuned to the customer's request, down to a crisp 2 pounds of pull. Ignition is charged using a 209 primer in a tungsten carbide ignition orifice.

The action lock/release is thumb operated and controlled using a spur extension of the trigger guard. A cross bolt safety system helps the hunter keep the rifle safe in the field. Ramrods are brass tipped and threaded to accept No. 10-32 accessories. Swing-Lock rifles are custom built to order with several design versions and possible options. The latest employs a Thumbover wood laminate stock design. Depending on options, Swing-Lock rifle weight starts at approximately 7 pounds.

Prices start at $2600. Call 814-440-7292, or visit www.swinglock.net. ...
